Good to know
How much do local canvas prints typically cost?
Small 8x10 inch canvas prints generally start between $20 and $40. Medium sizes like 16x20 cost around $45 to $85, while large 24x36 or 36x48 gallery wraps range from $90 to $220 depending on stretcher bar thickness and framing.
What image resolution is needed for canvas printing?
Local print shops require image files with a resolution of 150 to 300 DPI at full output size. For a 16x20 canvas, your image file should ideally be at least 2400x3000 pixels in JPEG, TIFF, or PDF format.
What is the difference between standard and gallery wrapped canvas?
A standard print is an flat canvas sheet designed to fit inside a traditional picture frame, whereas a gallery wrap is stretched around a 0.75-inch or 1.5-inch wooden frame with finished edges, making it ready to hang without an outer frame.
