Print Shops Offering Custom Magnetic Vehicle Signs near Sacramento
Good to know
How much do custom magnetic car signs typically cost?
A pair of standard 12x24 inch magnetic signs printed on 30 mil magnetic sheeting costs between $35 and $65. Larger 18x24 inch sets range from $60 to $95 depending on UV lamination and design complexity. Print shops usually offer 15% to 25% discounts when ordering multiple sets for fleet vehicles.
What vehicle speed can magnetic signs withstand without falling off?
Industry-standard 30 mil vehicle magnets are rated for highway speeds up to 75 mph when applied correctly. The sign must be placed entirely on a flat steel surface without air gaps, rust, or overlapping decorative trim. Removing signs weekly to clean both the vehicle panel and magnet backing prevents moisture trap and loss of adhesion.
What is the standard production turnaround time for magnetic signs?
Standard turnaround is 2 to 4 business days following final print proof approval. Local shops often provide same-day or 24-hour rush processing for an added fee of $20 to $40, provided print-ready vector artwork is submitted.
